If you (or someone you refer to me) buys or sells a home with me as their agent:

1. You/your friend gets 10% off

— If buying, this 10% will be a credit that you will receive at closing to lower your closing costs.

— If selling, this 10% will be taken off my selling commission

2. MBMA gets 10%

— upon successful closing, I will donate 10% to MBMA Parents Group to fund classroom extras for our kids. If there is a specific class or area you’d like the money to go to (i.e. Music, P.E., Computers), I can discuss that with the PG.

 

Let’s do some math to see what this means:

For a $500,000 sale at 2.5% commission, that means you get a $1250 discount and MBMA gets $1250

For a $1,000,000 sale at 2.5% commission, you get a $2500 discount and MBMA gets $2500.

I’m using the minimum commission above  for buyers – some buyer commissions will be 3%

to give you a little bit of background on my experience, I am a service-oriented broker, owning my own brokerage now for 4 years.  With over 90% of my business coming from referrals, friends and past clients, I cover a wide area of San Diego County, but am based centrally/coastal not far from the School. I’ve been selling real estate as a licensed Realtor since 2004 and was a real estate marketing consultant for 4 years prior to that, totaling about 16 years in the business. I have a psychology degree from the University of Virginia (class of 97). Having worked at the “big brokerages” (Prudential & Keller Williams Realty), I have been through the training that large companies can afford. But now, as an independent broker, I can be more flexible in doing things my way such as this discounted offer. Being service-oriented means that I am your direct source of contact and that i am highly available – you won’t be passed off to some rookie assistant after “signing papers” with me. I also have a service guarantee that I take seriously – I even put a Cancel Anytime clause in all my client contracts, so you know that I have to continue earning your business all throughout the transaction.
