The Deal is Simple:

Here’s some examples and fine print for those that want to read more:
If you (or someone you refer to me) buys or sells a home with me as their agent:
1. You/your friend gets 10% off
— If buying, this 10% will be a credit that you will receive at closing to lower your closing costs. minimum 2.5% commission.
— If selling, this 10% will be taken off my 2.5% selling commission from the start. I can also take 20% off and you can write the check to RMHCSD if it will provide you a better tax situation. Either option is the same to me.
— If referring me a friend, you and your friend can work out how to split “your” 10%. I will still donate 10% to RMHCSD.
2. RMHCSD gets 10%
— upon successful closing, I will donate 10% to RMHCSD
Let’s do some math to see what this means:
For a $500,000 sale at 2.5% commission, that means you get a $1250 discount and RMHCSD gets $1250
For a $1,000,000 sale at 2.5% commission, you get a $2500 discount and RMHCSD gets $2500.
I’m using the minimum commission above for buyers – some buyer commissions will be 3%
to give you a little bit of background on my experience, I am a service-oriented broker, owning my own brokerage now since 2012. With over 90% of my business coming from referrals, friends and past clients, I cover a wide area of San Diego County, but am based very centrally. I’ve been selling real estate as a licensed Realtor since 2004 and was a real estate marketing consultant for 4 years prior to that, totaling about 16 years in the business. I have a psychology degree from the University of Virginia (class of 97).
